On behalf of the Molecular Pathology Association of India (MPAI) and Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 13th Annual Conference of the Molecular Pathology Association of India (MPAICON 2026), to be held from February 26th to 28th, 2026, in Kolkata, at the serene, luxurious and elegant Taj Taal Kutir, in collaboration with Tata Medical Center, Kolkata.

This year's theme, “Decoding Genetics for Health: From Helix to Healing,” captures the transformative journey of Genetics—from unraveling the complexities of the genome to applying this knowledge in real-world clinical care. As Genomics continues to redefine the landscape of modern medicine, MPAICON 2026 aims to bring together experts and young minds to explore the frontiers of this rapidly evolving field.

The conference will feature high-impact scientific sessions, plenary lectures by leading national and international faculty, industry-academia partnerships, and interactive discussions that delve into the practical applications of precision medicine and genomics in routine diagnostics and patient management.

As Director of Laboratory Services at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata and President of MPAI, I am proud that this year’s conference is being hosted by Tata Medical Center, Kolkata.
