NAMSCON 2026 is the 66th Annual Conference of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India), hosted by SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, Chennai. It runs October 8–11, 2026, with pre-conference workshops on the 8th and the main conference October 9–11, under the theme "Synergy of Science and Technology in Healthcare for a Healthier Tomorrow."

Format: eight pre-conference workshops (3–9 hours each) covering trauma care, neonatal resuscitation, AI in clinical research, spine procedures, ERCP/EUS endoscopy, palliative care, diagnostic reasoning, and physician entrepreneurship. The main conference includes scientific sessions on topics like antimicrobial resistance, CAR-T cell therapy, cochlear implants, biosimilars, rare genetic disorders, and AI/wearables in diabetes care, plus panel discussions on work-life balance, robotic surgery, and social media's health impact. Oral and poster presentations run October 9–11.

Abstracts: submissions (original research, case series, or funded ongoing projects) are due by August 31, 2026, sent to scientific.namscon.2026@srmist.edu.in, open to postgraduate students, faculty, and PhD scholars.
